Walking in, you are immediately greeted by a sleek bar and its friendly bartenders. The room has a warm glow and it's not too dim - easy on the eyes. Past the corridor of cushioned booths and brick walls, it opens up to a wider seating area adorned with various art pieces, ivy latticed ceiling and an enormous, yet crisp slideshow display of gorgeous landscapes. If the ambience has not made you feel welcome yet, the staff will surely do. They are attentive and accommodating, making sure your table is cleared before each dish is served and keeping your glass full throughout the night. Most dishes are Korean classics that have been redesigned and artistically plated. My favorite items were the Korean Fried Chicken and Chopped Cheese burger. Here are my thoughts for the dishes I have sampled: Salmon Tartare – 8.5/10 – The kettle chips are freshly fried. When topped with chopped salmon and salmon roe, it is refreshing, saline and sweet yet crunchy. Pajeon – 7.5/10 – A crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside seafood pancake. Large pieces of calamari add a spring to every bite. Must eat fresh out of the kitchen or the crispy shell will get soggy. Bossam – 8.5/10 – Probably one of the most tender pork belly cuts I’ve had in a while. Pairs nicely their made in-house pickled radish. It has a nice level of spice that balances out once you have wrapped them all into lettuce. Would love to have more slices of the bossam on my plate. Korean Fried Chicken – 10/10 – This is the best korean fried chicken I’ve ever had and I live in Koreatown. The sauce is tangy, sweet & sticky and the crunch is indescribable. I didn’t care much for the side of pickled radish but the yuzu mayo sauce that comes with it is a must try. The citrusy and light flavors harmonize with the rich sauce. I had to order 2 of these. Bibimbap – 8/10 – A nice assortment of sautéed veggies and runny egg on top of warm purple rice. All the veggies are crisp and not mushy at all. The sauce is sweet and not too spicy but it’s on the side so you can adjust to your liking. Chopped Cheese Burger – 10/10 – First thing I noticed was that the bun was perfectly buttered and toasted. The crispiness made it easy to hold and the interior was fluffy enough to keep the burger intact after each bite. The beef was juicy and cheesy and held together well. This was indeed a gourmet sloppy joe. Korean Fried Chicken Sandwich – 9.5/10 – Take the best korean fried chicken I’ve ever had in a perfectly toasted bun and add a refreshing sesame slaw and you got yourself the best chicken sandwich in the world. This is a must eat fresh out of the kitchen because the slaw will render the bun soggy if you wait too long. The owner, Bina, is a master mixologist with decades of restaurant biz experience under her belt. You'll often find her at the bar concocting cocktails that are akin to works of art. Do try the Korean Pear drink if you like fruity notes with subtle sweetness. To end the night, cute black sesame flavored macaroons branded with their logo were served. This dinner had all the elements to make it wonderful and surreal. I came here to a night out with coworkers, but I will return to a date with the missus. Please open during lunch time so I can have the chicken sandwich for lunch every day.

Food- don’t leave this place without trying the short ribs, salmon 🍣 crispy rice, and black sesame ice cream 🍨 with black sesame brittle. The crispy rice was the perfect consistency with the salmon. The short ribs (which I love short ribs) was sooooo tender and delicious. Along with these superb menu items, the cacio e peppe spaghetti and crispy fried chicken which we made kid friendly were amazing. The cacio spaghetti became a delicious butter 🧈 Parmesan pasta for the kids—cooked perfectly al dente. And the fried chicken “nuggets” were naked/plain and another kid friendly dish. The service —bartender, servers, were fantastic. The atmosphere- It’s a chill environment and the ambiance is perfect for an early family dinner, drinks with friends or co-workers, parties, or a date.

Came with 5 friends and had a great experience! First, the restaurant is upscale casual, with beautiful seating. It's a long hallway styled-restaurant, which opens in the back for more seating. We sat in the front booth by the bar, which was private and cozy (and let us watch the bartenders at work!). Importantly, the drinks were fantastic, I think we sampled every one of their cocktails. My personal favorite was the Lychee Martini (so cold, so flavorful - I order this everywhere and I think this was my favorite find) and the Korean Pear (it smelled almost as good as it tasted). My friends also like the Eclipse (the pineapple flavor reminded me of a summer bay breeze cocktail); we were split on the passionfruit guava bellini (some tartness) and the raspberry blitz (literally started an argument at the table - I thought it tasted like a raspberry sorbet). In terms of food, we liked mostly everything that we ordered, but highlights for the K-Tapas were the Corn Cheese (a comforting dip of cheesy corn goodness), Korean Fried Chicken (tender chicken chunks, but not as spicy as other mainstay Korean places), and Tteokbokki (straight comfort - the fried fish cakes and the sausage were nice surprises - though I wish we could ask for cheese on top - I'd pay extra for that!). For entrees, the Galbi-Jjim (delicious and tender) and the Pork Belly (expect a little bit of fat, it carries the flavor!). The Pajeon was simple, but a decent size. The Seoul Chopped Cheese was a fun surprise (we thought it was like a sloppy joe with a little kick) and the Korean Fried Chicken sandwich was tasty, with a generous piece of chicken and the sauce was less spice forward but flavorful. The accompanying chips were homemade and really hit the spot. The server Rue was such a cutie - she took the time to try to learn our names. She was so attentive and our cups were always full. We had a great time and I'll definitely be back!

Looking for the perfect spot on date night, GNO or private events? I've got your place! Spacious, yet cozy and beautiful details throughout. Good vibes and yummy drinks - lychee martini is a must try at their gorgeous bar area! Must Haves: Salmon Tartare - so fresh, topped with Ikura! The pear adds a nice touch of sweetness to the dish. Crispy Dumplings with Pork and Kimchi - an underrated plate, these were delicious, had a nice crunch and served with an amazing yuzu kosho mayo! Do not miss out on the sauce, soooo good! Galbi Jjim - Super tender and paired wonderfully with the plated parsnip purée. Definitely a star on their menu. Crispy Rice with Mushrooms - was the perfect bite. The mushrooms were so delicious that I needed another order! Bulgogi Bibimbap - great dish for kids as the spicy pepper sauce was offered on the side and bulgogi was full of flavor. A staple for any family diners. Service: Super friendly and attentive staff, who followed up to see if anything was needed. I can't wait to return and try everything on their menu!

Congrats to you for finding the next hidden gem of a place. We heard of Seoul Bap from a friend of mine and thought we gave it a try. First and foremost, this place has a warm and friendly vibe where you can see yourself just slipping on their cocktails and eating Korean inspired tapas all night long. And from our experience at the end of the night, that was all confirmed. The staff was friendly and outgoing and the cocktail was refreshing and flavorful. I order the Lychee martini and was told that they blend up the lychee fruit to mix within with the drink instead of just the lychee syrup like most other bar often do. Since my wife doesn't drink Seoul Bap was able to make the drink on the menu as a mocktail version which was just as great. She order the Korean Pear and Passionfruit Guava Bellini and both was great. The food are all Korean inspired but their variation to me was even better. Their Jajangmyeon has a great rich umami flavor with a subtle note of sourness to it which just brought our appetite to the table. I also have to say having chuck of pork instead group pork within the dish just gave an overall great texture to the dish. We also had their Salmon Tartare which was light and creamy since the salmon tartare was accompanied with a layer of guacamole which both complimented the twice fried house made potatoes chips. Their Pajeon with seafood was just chuck full of green onion and seafood which was coated in a thin batter that was just pan fried to perfection.. I have to say it was the best Pajeon i had in a while. We couldn't just stop eating and had to order the Korean Fried Chicken and Crispy Mushroom, both great tapas that goes with with the Won Soju and White Lotus Makgeolli we has toward the end of the night. Overall a great place where the folks are friendly and outgoing and a great place for any date night or just to gather with friend trying to escape the reality of life. HIGHLY recommend you pay a visit to this place soon. I will definitely be returning.

Such an elegant restaurant - beautiful atmosphere, tasty cocktails, cool food - it’s like… Korean comfort food, is the best way to describe it - lovely and welcoming staff. We went with a group of friends and had a lot of fun ordering a bunch of stuff and sharing, but it also feels like cool a date spot without being stuffy, very cool. Try the Eclipse!
